How ShotSlate collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data

This Privacy Policy explains how ShotSlate handles personal data when you use our website and AI creative studio. If you have questions or want to exercise a privacy right, contact us at support@shotslate.com.
When you create or use an account, we may process your name, email address, profile image, account identifiers, sign-in provider information, and session information. You may sign in with Google or another supported authentication method.
ShotSlate stores information needed to provide your creative workspace. This can include prompts, project titles, canvas nodes and connections, chat messages, project notes, uploaded files, generated images and videos, exports, and associated metadata such as file names, storage keys, and creation times.
We process plan selection, subscription or one-time purchase status, Credits balances and transactions, and payment-related identifiers. Payments are processed by the payment provider configured for ShotSlate, currently Stripe or Creem. ShotSlate does not store full payment card numbers.
We may process IP-derived information, browser and device information, log data, pages viewed, and product interaction data. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may collect analytics information as described in our Cookie Policy.

We retain account and project data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, or maintain security. Uploaded files, generated media, and exports may be stored in object storage while they remain associated with an active project or account. We may retain limited backup or transaction records where necessary for security, accounting, or legal purposes.
You can request account deletion or ask about deletion of personal data by contacting support@shotslate.com. We will handle requests subject to applicable law and legitimate retention needs.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where we rely on it. To make a request, email support@shotslate.com.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
ShotSlate is not intended for children who are not legally permitted to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. Do not use the service if you do not meet the applicable minimum age requirement.
